Community Life

Pretty much every story about disciples in the New Testament shows them living life in a community. We think that is a great model to follow. So we do a lot together, though we still respect each student’s need for personal space.

In addition to the time spent in the classroom, in chapel and in service, we also spend time together just having fun. It might be a games night, playing intramural sports or some random adventure, but we recognize the God-given capacity to play and we want to honor that.

As a Mile Two student you will be part of a community that cares for you, accepts you and seeks to bring the best out of you. No one will fall through the cracks or be pushed to the edge. We are in this together.

Residence and Classroom

The Mile Two dorm consists of separate men’s and women’s floors with a common lounge for each. The dorm is newly renovated and students are comfortably placed two per room. A residence supervisor and a residence assistant on each floor oversee residence life.

Our classroom was completely renovated in the summer of 2014 and includes comfortable chairs and tables for study.  The classroom lounge creates a casual setting for group devotions and break times.

Students eat all of their meals in the Reimer Student Life Center. The “food court” style layout allows students to choose their meals from a wide variety of options. From nutritious entrees, to pizza and burgers or soups and salads our food services team does a great job taking care of our students.
